Do you repair curb rash or straighten bent Audi wheels?
No. We only recolor your existing wheels with DTM coating. We can coat over light, already-smooth wear, but we do not fill curb rash, repair cracks, or straighten bends. If a wheel needs structural repair first, we will tell you before we coat it.
Can you match Audi's two-tone or diamond-cut machined look?
We coat the full face one color, so the factory machined or contrast-gray two-tone becomes a single uniform finish. That is exactly why matte black Audi wheels and gunmetal read so clean. We cannot recreate a diamond-cut machined ring, which needs a lathe, not coating.
Will the coating hold up on an Audi daily driver in South Florida?
Yes. DTM coating bonds to prepped aluminum through an adhesion primer, so it resists the salt, heat, and brake dust a tri-county Audi sees. We degrease and scuff every wheel first; skipping that prep is why cheap spray jobs peel on alloy.
Do I have to remove my wheels or tires first?
No. We come to you and pull the wheels ourselves. We handle Audi anti-theft lock bolts when you have the key socket, mask the tire and valve, and coat each wheel. Tires stay mounted the whole time. Please leave the wheel-lock key in the car.
